Friends of Eliza Howell Park

Welcome to the inaugural website of the Friends of Eliza Howell Park. One of the great ironies of life is that so much good can come from unexpected adveristy.

While we all have enjoyed Eliza Howell Park, we stood afar off from each other. We complained within our small circles we made do, got by and did little to address our common concerns.

Then along came someone who wanted to take our park away. From this assault on our place of respite, play, and prayer we came together.

What a blessing! Who knew??!! Brightmoor and Brighton, young and once young, Brown, Yellow, White, Black brought together and working together to keep Eliza Howell a park.

Now that we are together, we will not only keep the park but improve it!
